ELKHART -- Timothy W. "Tim" Anderson, 56, of Elkhart, died at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 13, 2010) in his home after a six-month illness.

He was born Nov. 18, 1953, in Elkhart to Russell and Pauline (Reed) Anderson. He married Darcy L. Hartsell on April 14, 1973. She survives along with one son, Clint (Adrienne) Anderson of Vandalia, Mich.; one daughter, Tara (Don) Stolz of Middlebury; three grandchildren; two brothers, James (Fawn) Anderson of Elkhart and Richard (Deb) Anderson of Hutto, Texas; and his parents, Russell and Pauline Anderson of Elkhart.

Mr. Anderson graduated from Elkhart High School in 1972 and was branch manager of John Deere Landscaping in Burns Harbor for 12 years. He was a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene, Elkhart, where he served as a board member.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, and an hour prior the 2:30 p.m. Saturday funeral service at Northside Church of the Nazarene, 53569 C.R. 7, Elkhart. Pastor Lane Fosnaugh will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Adamsville (Mich.) Cemetery.
